A sports massage with either Grant Steele, Mark Vine, or Sherneen Thomas will involve a combination of massage techniques to help improve muscle function, reduce pain, and improve range of motion. Depending on the specific needs and goals of the client, the massage therapist may use a combination of deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, myofascial release, and other techniques. These techniques can help to improve circulation, improve flexibility, reduce inflammation, and reduce muscle tension. The massage therapists may also provide stretching and strengthening exercises, as well as advice on nutrition and lifestyle changes.
Grant is the best sports and deep tissue massage therapist I’ve found. I’ve been seeing Grant for about 8 years now for windsurfing injuries, hockey injuries and back issues. He is extremely knowledgeable and as well as amazing deep tissue massage he uses k tape and cupping techniques and gives effective advice on follow up stretching. Grant knows when to refer on to physio or osteo so you know you’re in super safe hands. The coffee is really good at Maison du Velo too!
I have been seeing Grant for several years and I always feel amazing after my massage. No matter where the knots and sore bits are, he will find them and make them feel better - it makes exercising worthwhile when there’s a massage at the end of it! Grant is friendly, professional and great at what he does, I cannot recommend him highly enough
Once you find Grant, you will never go anywhere else.I was recommended to see Grant a few years ago. I had long term back issues and he always managed to get me out of pain. He’s fantastic at his job and so, so easy to chat away with.
